Nigeria and Türkiye have renewed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the defence industry, with both countries targeting increased investment, innovation, technology transfer, and joint production. The commitment was made at the 7th Nigeria–Türkiye Defence Industry Business Forum held in Abuja. Nigeria's Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (retd.), said Nigeria seeks to transform its defence relationship with Türkiye from a buyer-seller arrangement into a balanced partnership driven by local manufacturing and joint production.
