The International Press Institute (IPI) Nigeria has mourned the passing of journalist, publisher, and entrepreneur Dotun Oladipo, who died on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, in Lagos. IPI Nigeria President Musikilu Mojeed described Oladipo as an excellent journalist and a passionate defender of press freedom. The statement highlighted his dedication, resourcefulness, and affable nature, which endeared him to colleagues and led to his appointment as Chairman of IPI Nigeria's committee.
