Security operatives in Sokoto State foiled an attack on Sifawa town in Bodinga Local Government Area on Wednesday. The bandits, who came from Horo village in Shagari LGA, attempted to overrun the military barracks but were repelled after hours of fighting. Two soldiers were injured and evacuated for treatment, while several bandits are feared killed.
