Ekiti State has joined five other states in the Positive Parenting Programme in Nigeria as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Value Female Network Africa, and the Ekiti State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development commenced the Gender Transformative Positive Parenting Programme 1.0. The programme, which is currently ongoing, marks an important investment in parenting support and gender equality. It aims to promote positive parenting practices and gender-transformative approaches.
