Hyundai's CEO, José Muñoz, announced that the company is nearing mass production of robots from Boston Dynamics, which it acquired in 2021. He suggested that Hyundai's dealership network and financing arm could be used to sell and finance these robots to consumers. While car companies have used robots in plants, consumer sales are still rare.
