Michael Olawale Odesanya, a retired Head of Administration and Human Resources at Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, has publicly appealed for the payment of his retirement benefits, which have been delayed after 30 years of service. Odesanya, who retired in 2026 after joining the Local Government Service Commission on July 4, 1996, stated that the delay has made it difficult for him to afford essential medicines and supplements. He described the situation as exposing him to the hardship faced by many retirees who leave service without receiving their entitlements. Odesanya began his career as an Admin Officer and rose to the position of Chief Admin Officer before his retirement.
