Troops in Sokoto State repelled an attack by suspected terrorists on a military barracks in Sifawa, Bodinga Local Government Area. The attackers, who came from Horo village in Shagari LGA, attempted to advance on the barracks around 10am. Several terrorists were reportedly killed during the confrontation. Security forces are on alert to prevent further attacks in the area.
