The Sea Empowerment & Research Centre has called for a thorough investigation into an alleged N6,000 charge per container at Nigerian ports. The centre also seeks a probe into reported demands for refunds of about N178 million in unapproved charges at bonded terminals, including fees for empty-container returns and holding-bay capacity.
