Domestic refineries, led by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, supplied nearly three-quarters of Nigeria's Premium Motor Spirit in the first seven months of 2026, making them the largest source of petrol supply. This occurred despite a sharp resurgence in petrol imports during the period. Imports fell significantly compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
