Security forces in Sokoto State foiled an attempted attack on Sifawa town in Bodinga Local Government Area on Wednesday, killing several bandits. The attackers, allegedly advancing from Horo village in Shagari Local Government Area, attempted to overrun a military location. An air operation was launched following the incident.
