The Fanny Amun-led Fact Finding Committee, established by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to investigate the decline of Nigerian national teams, has submitted its report after two weeks, but it has raised more questions than answers. Amun, who previously coached Nigeria's Golden Eaglets to win the 1993 FIFA U17 World Cup, has since resigned from the committee. Other members included Dr. Alex Mana, former Super Falcons captain Desire Oparanozie, Coach Ladan Bosso, former Super Eagles midfielder Mutiu Adepoju, and Nasiru Jibril as secretary. The committee was tasked with examining reasons for Nigeria's failure to qualify for global competitions, as well as governance, finance, technical development, grassroots football, and league management.
