The Federal Government is reviewing its foreign scholarship and bilateral education arrangements to cut unnecessary spending and redirect resources toward strengthening Nigerian tertiary institutions. Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, stated that the government can no longer justify spending scarce public funds on sending students abroad. This move aims to improve local educational infrastructure and capacity.
