ADC, NDC Explain Delay in Unveiling Their Own Presidential Campaign Councils

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) have explained that they have not yet unveiled their presidential campaign councils because they are still consulting stakeholders. The parties, fielding Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi respectively, dismissed claims that the delay is due to financial constraints. ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the party is not being held back by funding issues and noted that INEC has not set a deadline for campaign teams. He added that the presidential election is still far off.
