The production line of Okin Biscuits at its factory in Offa, Kwara State, has resumed operation after 17 years of inactivity, marking a significant step in reviving the iconic Nigerian biscuit brand. The first biscuits rolled off a rehabilitated line, following extensive repairs after critical components were stolen during the factory's dormancy. The company stated that the exercise was a technical trial run to test the line's functionality, not a product trial, as they were not yet focused on achieving the final Okin recipe.
