Presidential Spokesman Bayo Onanuga announced that President Bola Tinubu has constituted an eleven-man committee to develop a National Threat Assessment and Strategic Defence Operations Plan within ninety days. The committee will be coordinated by Major General Adeyinka A. Famadewa, the President's Special Adviser on Homeland Security. The directive aims to address security challenges ahead of the general elections.
