Health ministers from the WHO African Region have endorsed a new regional strategy to strengthen the regulation of medical products over the next decade. The Regional Strategy on Regulation of Medical Products in the African Region (2026–2035) aims to improve systems that ensure medicines, vaccines, diagnostics, and medical devices meet international standards.
