Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has pledged to recruit more teachers and sustain investments in education, infrastructure, and human capital development. The Benue APC Publicity Secretary, Benedict Yawe Alia, disclosed this in a statement on the ongoing Thank-You Tour of the state by the governor. The governor said his administration has already recruited 9,700 primary school teachers and plans to employ additional teachers for both primary and secondary schools to address manpower shortages. He reiterated his commitment to delivering people-oriented projects and improving the welfare of the people.
