Depositors of the defunct Heritage Bank have called on the Federal Government, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) to ensure full payment of their trapped funds. The bank's license was revoked in June 2024 due to poor financial performance, and the NDIC was appointed as liquidator. However, over two years later, depositors claim they have not received their money, causing severe financial hardship.
