The Federal Government has set a target to provide steady power to 30 per cent of health facilities by 2027, amid a significant electricity gap in primary health centres (PHCs). According to Salako, between 60 and 70 per cent of Nigeria's primary and tertiary health facilities experience frequent power outages or have no electricity at all. The initiative aims to improve healthcare delivery by ensuring reliable power supply.
