Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a businessman, Alhaji Yusuf Keche, after he observed Isha'i prayers at a mosque in Dabi, Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). A resident, Ibrahim Suleiman, said the incident occurred on Monday shortly after the victim finished prayers at a mosque close to his residence. The victim was on his way home when suspected kidnappers wielding AK-47 rifles alighted from a tinted, unmarked vehicle, forced him inside and whisked him away amid sporadic gunshots. Suleiman noted that two of the suspected kidnappers had earlier positioned themselves around the mosque, indicating the gunmen had been monitoring the man's movements.
