The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra State has arrested three suspects for illegal mining of sharp sand at Obiaja River. The arrests were made during a media briefing at the State Command Headquarters in Awka. The suspects were allegedly involved in unauthorized sand mining activities in the area.
