Community leaders in Katsina and Nasarawa states have commended the Department of State Services (DSS) for arresting an alleged arms trafficking kingpin, Abubakar Mubarak. The arrest occurred on Tuesday in Magabar Jibia, Katsina State, and is believed to have dismantled a network supplying weapons to terrorists. The suspect, about 28 years old, hails from Zamfara State. Residents have expressed relief over the operation.
