The Nigeria Police Force has challenged social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, to provide evidence for his allegation that police officers at checkpoints relay information to kidnappers. The Force rejected the allegations as unsubstantiated and damaging to the institution. Police personnel are deployed to prevent crime, the statement said.
