Guyana's economy is projected to grow by 16.2% in 2026, driven by a 17.9% increase in oil production and expected revenues of $2.79 billion. The government targets crude output of 1.3 million barrels per day by 2027 and 1.7 million by 2030, with major projects like Uaru and Whiptail contributing to GDP growth. The oil sector's expansion is expected to boost export earnings and fiscal revenues, potentially raising GDP to between $50 billion and $69 billion by 2030.
