The Media Coordinator of the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, Omon, has resigned, citing pressure to remain silent on a N2 billion allocation. In his resignation letter, Omon stated that he was asked to keep quiet about the allocation, which he found untenable. His resignation took effect from August 27, 2026.
