Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, represented by Deputy Governor Idris Mohammed Gobir, made this statement while receiving the National President of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN). The government highlighted recent recruitment of 3,000 workers, including health workers, and introduced a two-year compulsory rural posting policy to strengthen healthcare delivery in rural areas.
