Five traders were killed when a military Hilux vehicle lost control and crashed into a busy market in Chanchangi town, Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The vehicle was escorting traders from Wukari to Takum due to high kidnapping incidents along the road. Several other traders were injured and taken to Takum General Hospital. The police confirmed the incident but provided limited details.
