Following the resignation of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Ibrahim Gusau and other board members, the National Sports Commission (NSC) is divided over the appointment of a Normalisation Committee Chairman. The resignations came amid pressure over poor management of Nigerian football and funds, including a Department of State Services investigation into the use of a N17bn Federal Government intervention fund. NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi has also confirmed his resignation, marking a major leadership shake-up in the football governing body.
