Emmanuel Ugboaja, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has died. Ugboaja, who became the fifth General Secretary of the NLC in 2019, was a veteran trade unionist and lawyer with a career in organised labour spanning more than three decades.
