The Investment and Securities Tribunal (IST) has cautioned lawyers against filing capital market disputes at the Federal High Court, saying it wastes time and resources. Chairman Junaid Aminu gave the warning during a breakout session at the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt. He noted that many lawyers and judges are unaware of the IST's jurisdiction, leading to 'forum shopping' and prolonged litigation.
