The Kano State Fire Service rescued a 40-year-old man and his cow after they became trapped in an old well at Sabon Ruwa Village in Makoda Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Wednesday at about 3:22pm, and the emergency response unit from Danbatta received a distress report. The cow's owner, Badamasi Ibrahim, had entered the well to rescue the animal but became trapped. Both were successfully rescued alive, though the man experienced breathing difficulties.
