A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to produce socialite Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, known as KayCee Luxury, before the court. The order follows an ex parte application filed by his counsel, A. Labi-Lawal, SAN, over his continued detention without formal arraignment. Afolabi was arrested on August 13 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport while preparing to travel to Paris. His legal team argues that his detention violates his fundamental rights.
