According to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Nigeria had the lowest average electricity tariff among 14 selected African countries in 2025. The average allowed end-user tariff was N124.30 per kilowatt-hour. This data reflects Nigeria's position in the regional energy market.
