Amnesty International Nigeria has criticized the alleged failure of security agencies to hold the Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, accountable for comments threatening violence against residents who refuse to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC). The organization expressed concern over a climate of fear among residents, stating that Shekwolo's alleged attempt to make voting for APC a condition for peaceful living was unlawful. Amnesty made these remarks in a post on its X platform.
