Chief Ifeanyichukwuma Odii, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Ebonyi State in the 2027 election, has pledged to avoid white elephant projects if elected. Speaking at a meeting with party stakeholders in his hometown of Isu, Onicha Local Government Area, Odii said his administration would focus on projects that directly impact residents, particularly in agriculture, education, healthcare, and security. He promised to construct access roads within his first year to help farmers reach their farms and transport produce to markets. Odii also stated he would not prioritize flyovers, calling them low priority, and would instead complete viable projects.
