MTN Group, Africa's largest telecom operator, has announced a partnership with Dubai-based investor Tarek Al Ashram to develop a network of AI-ready data centres across Africa. The project, valued at $6 billion, will include a 150-megawatt facility as part of the initial phase. This initiative aims to bolster the continent's digital infrastructure and support the growing demand for artificial intelligence services.
