Security stakeholders, including the Lagos State Police Command, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Navy, and the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN), have cautioned youths against electoral violence and other vices. They noted that youths are often targeted by perpetrators of violence and crimes. The stakeholders urged youths to avoid being used as tools for violence.
