The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has urged President Bola Tinubu to take immediate action to address terrorism, banditry, and abductions in Northern Nigeria. The lawmakers proposed withdrawing $5 billion from external reserves to fund a security intervention. They cited recent attacks in several northern states and demanded the immediate release of former Governor El-Rufai.
