Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have rescued two kidnapped victims and recovered 94 rustled livestock in separate operations in Kaduna and Kano states. The operations, conducted on August 25 and 26, 2026, also disrupted terrorist activities, according to Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja. In one operation in Kachia Local Government Area, troops encountered terrorists who attempted an ambush but were forced to flee under superior firepower. In another, troops responded to a distress call about the abduction of three civilians and livestock rustling in Igabi Local Government Area.
