Retro, a social media app designed by former Instagram employees for sharing content with close friends and family, has raised at least $21 million in venture capital funding. The startup, Lone Palm Labs, lists investors including Thrive Capital, Scribble Ventures, and Figma CEO Dylan Field. Retro is part of a wave of new social apps challenging established platforms.
