Former Nigerian Ambassador to Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, Godknows Igali, has criticized the Federal Government over the poor state of roads in the Niger Delta. He said the condition of major highways, including the East-West Road and Benin-Asaba corridor, contradicts claims by the Minister of Works, David Umahi, that significant progress has been made. Igali expressed frustration, stating that his frequent travels have shown him the roads are in bad shape.
