The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission has called for the speedy completion of its proposed headquarters, The Barrel, stating that the facility will enhance the commission's efficiency and strengthen Nigeria's appeal to investors. The statement was made by the Head of Media and Corporate Communications, Eniola Akinkuotu, on Thursday. The proposed 10-storey building is designed to accommodate a significant number of staff and is expected to serve as a symbol of the commission's commitment to regulatory excellence.
