The Kwara State Police Command has rescued the Onigbesi of Igbesi, Oba Moses Omotayo, and two other kidnapped victims. The monarch and the others were abducted by gunmen in Igbesi community, Isin Local Government Area, on August 22, 2026. During the rescue operation, security operatives killed one of the kidnappers. The victims have been reunited with their families.
