The Kwara State Police Command and vigilantes have rescued the traditional ruler of Igbesi community in Isin Local Government Area, Oba Moses Oyinloye, who was abducted on August 22, 2026. The operation was triggered by information received at the Oro Police Station about a vigilante who sustained a gunshot wound. A joint team of police, military, and vigilantes pursued the suspected kidnappers and encountered fire. The monarch was rescued during the operation.
