₦10.11bn travel expenditure not for Mutfwang, Govt House – Plateau govt

The Plateau State Government has clarified that the ₦10.11 billion spent on travel and transportation between January and June 2026 was not incurred by Governor Caleb Mutfwang or the Government House. According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Joyce Lohya Ramnap, the figure represents aggregate spending across the state's public service, including MDAs, tertiary institutions, the Judiciary, and the House of Assembly. The expenditure covered statutory obligations such as personnel entitlements, training, and pilgrim welfare activities.
