Ugandan Members of Parliament have raised concerns over gaps in cancer screening and emergency health services. During a plenary session, legislators questioned the limited availability of screening facilities and unfulfilled promises of ambulances. Maruzi North County MP Hon. Benard Otim called for investment in mobile cancer screening services. He noted that the Uganda Cancer Institute has only one screening van, limiting access to early diagnosis.
