The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to grant the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, a presidential pardon. In a statement by his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Alli, on Tuesday, Oluwo said granting Kanu amnesty would go a long way in the full integration of the region and foster national unity. The traditional ruler urged the president to consider the request for the sake of peace and reconciliation.
