The Kebbi State Police Command has recovered a large quantity of stolen electricity service cables and arrested a suspected vandal, Mustapha Abubakar, in Bunza Local Government Area. The recovery was made on August 25, 2026, during a police operation in the Kara area of Bunza town, following concerns over persistent theft of electrical infrastructure. The suspect is in custody as investigations continue.
