The Federal Government has said it is developing a policy on small-scale hydro projects to convert 21 idle dams discovered along the Sokoto-Badagry Road into commercially viable projects. Minister of Power Joseph Tegbe disclosed this in Abuja on Wednesday at the launch of the Renewable Energy Asset Management Company. The discovery is expected to boost power generation in the country.
