The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos recently convened a three-day workshop on intellectual property (IP) protection, bringing together over 120 policymakers, lawyers, music executives, artistes, producers, distributors, and other creative industry stakeholders. The workshop aimed to explore how stronger IP protection can unlock investment and strengthen commercial ties between the U.S. and Nigeria in the music industry.
